I'm a model/actress who's been on a bit hiatus taking the role as wife to my hubby Dallon Weekes who plays bass in the band Panic! At The Disco, aka Rockstar (as I refer to him on my blog), and a being a stay-at-home mom to my beautiful 5yr old girl Amelie & a 3yr old boy Knox.
The Pink Door was created when I was introduced to Etsy & discovered a way to put my creative artistic abilities to use & an outlet to sell & have an at home business. I've recently started to change over my Etsy shop to Wedding, Holiday & Special Event banners/decorations!
I've been collecting vintage things as far as I can remember. My mom aka Saturdayfinds, has always been an inspiration to me & is the reason I have such a passion for vintage. I have a few new projects in the works; a cartoon/comic book idea Dallon and I developed and publishing a book!
I just had to blog about them and share to you ladies.
The company is called Flirty Aprons, and they're based in Provo, Utah. Right now to they are having a sale and the aprons are priced great! They also make matching aprons for your little girls! Take a look at some of my favorites:
We had a fun couple weeks over here at The Weekes home! The biggest news was that we found out we are having a boy! So now we will have a girl and boy! So fun. We're very excited. I did have a feeling from the beginning that is was a boy, and he certainly made his debut known on the ultrasound. It was very clear he is a boy, and being a typical boy, he kept putting his hand "down there" grabbing his stuff!! Ha, ha. So now it's name thinking, which we think we might already have decided... Now though I have to have a baby shower for sure, I have all pink stuff!! I need boy stuff... and what colors and theme for the room.. ahh but that's the fun part, shopping and decorating!

Also this week we celebrated Valentine's Day, and while Grandma Weekes watched our Amelie and put on a Valentine's party for all the Grandkids, we had a date night- a much needed date night. :) My hubby aka "Rockstar" was truely treated like one. We failed to make dinner reservations, so as my hubby called the restaurant Rooster's we just had to go to for dinner (mostly due to my craving for their Buffalo Wings- pregnancy cravings perhaps?), they told him there were no tables available. Then he kinda mentioned he was bass player for Panic! At The Disco, and was in a bit of bind because he was wanting to take his wife to Valentine's dinner. As soon as they heard what band he was in, they immediately told him they could have a table for him..and possibly a private booth if desired.
He, he,he..I must say it was kinda fun being able to pull some strings like that..this is all still so new to us so it's funny when we get special treatment. We had a delicious dinner and stayed humble giving the waitress a very good tip. Afterwards we went to a movie and saw Sherlock Holmes..
so needless to say I got spend my Valentine's date night with three hot men- my hubby, Jude Law, and Robert Downey Jr. ...hey a girl can dream :P I can back up that Jude is quite attractive, I have met him before while working on the movie A.I.
So all in all it was great week, and looking forward to the weekend... and hopefully some treasure hunting! :)
but for crafting I have already moved on to Easter! Which brings me to my Pink Saturday contribution!!
I've been gathering my crafting items for my Easter project, so this involved a trip to Michael's crafts today with my little girl..it's was girl's day! :)
It made shopping even that much more fun because I had a gift card! fun, free money!
I'm also preparing for my first giveaway I will be having on my blog very shortly, so I found a couple cute things for that too.
Here's my goodies I picked up today, and like I said some is for crafting, and some is for the giveaway..

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! There was just too much going on this past month that I didn't have time to blog or sell on Etsy. My daughter and I took a December trip to California
to visit family while my husband went to Florida for a mini tour with the band Panic! At The Disco, he plays in as bass player. When we returned from our trips we moved, then Christmas came and went, and then New Year's!! I'm so excited for this new year, I feel there's lots a good changes coming our way.
January is nearly half way through and one of my favorite holidays is just around the corner.. Valentine's Day!! I'm just a romantic, must be I guess since I have a heart tattoo behind my ear and the word "Love" on my wrist. :)
Were still getting settled in our new place, but I will be re-opening my Etsy shop soon and will have some new vintage goodies for sale!
One of my addictions is Polyvore! Oh if you haven't discovered it yet, you need to check it out. I created this for my Pink Door blog and it will be a link button. I also designed one for my mom's blog Saturdayfinds.
I don't think it's ever to early for Christmas, and when the snow begins to fall it really gives me the feeling of the holiday!
Recently went top my local Hobby Lobby, and apparently they don't think it's too early for Christmas either...I snapped this delicious picture of the wonderful eye candy of lovely Christmas trees of all kinds and colors!!
Personally I'm a fan of pink Christmas things. My mom Saturdayfinds ever year makes mini pink trees embellished with lovely vintage ornaments, and glitter!! Last year I was living in California so we got to make them together and dye bunches and bunches of trees for crafting.
I also must share my newest Christmas vintage finds!! Each package were only a $1 !! I will be selling them on my Etsy shop very soon, along with a few other vintage Xmas goodies!
So hope you all are having a good weekend and Happy Pink Saturday! Thanks for coming by!
Yes I got some of my latest finds up for sale on Etsy. Here are some pictures of my treasures. I will be posting more for sale on Etsy throughout the week..along with Christmas stuff too! enjoy! :)
another trip to California. Oh don't get me wrong I love it, but you know traveling can be exhausting especially on the way back home and hauling a little one too. This trip was focused on my husband's new job, playing bass for the band Panic! At The Disco, at a movie premiere for "Jennifer's Body". It was great fun. Grandma (Saturdayfinds) had open arms to babysit our little girl for a couple days, while the hubby- Rockstar and I got to stay at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, thanks to the record label ;).
The Roosevelt Hotel as been around since the 20's and has recently had a major renovation. The hotel still has alot of the vintage feel with added modern touches. Many Hollywood stars have stayed here; Clark Gable, Carole Lombard and Marilyn Monroe lived here for a bit. It's also the birthplace of the Academy Awards. It is also said to be haunted. We didn't have any haunting experiences while we were there, but I took a picture of the pool where Marilyn Monroe's room overlooked, and the lobby of the Hotel. Panic! At The Disco played their show in the courtyard of the Hollywood & Highland, which connects to the Chinese Grauman Theater. After they played we got to attend the movie premiere with red carpet treatment, and my husband was swarmed by fans and signed autographs.
The rest of trip was visiting with family and relaxing. Next he is on to Brazil to play a music festival in November! :)
