I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas...

Hope you all had a sweet Pink Saturday.
Although I didn't get around
to posting for Pink Saturday,
because I'm kept VERY busy
with my two little ones..

I'm here sharing my Pink Saturday
goodies with you on
this lovely Sunday morning!

Since being back in California,
and enjoying the so-called
"winter" weather here,
with almost endless sunny days..
I've been able to team up again
with my crafting partner
and mom Saturdayfinds.

I don't have much of a crafting studio
set-up in my place yet, so I sneak off
to her place and ignite my
creativity among all her
yummy crafting supplies!

Here's some of our crafting
collaborations we came up with
and are also available for
sale in her Etsy Shop!

Thanks for coming by,
may all your dreams be pink!

Bake Sale for Haiti

This past weekend I helped
my good friend with her Bake Sale.

She's raising money for the costs
to ship donations to Haiti.

She's been there before, and will be returning
early next year to help with
a documentary and personally
deliver the donations she has collected.
She works at Fred Segal Beauty
in Santa Monica, CA
as spa/salon manager and they
were kind enough to let her hold her bake sale there.

I was the one of the many
who made a homemade treat
to donate to sell at the sale.

I made my famous Oreo Meltaways.

They are oh so yummy!
I bagged them, and fancied them up a bit
in the color theme for the sale.
They were a hit, among the other goodies,
and the sale was a success!

Back Home in California

Ok I'm back here on the blogging world,
and this time I really
hope to keep up with my
blogging much better.
We just moved from Utah
back to my home state of
California less than a month ago.

We're getting settled
in and it's sooooo good to be back.
I have most of my friends and family here,
and they are very helpful and supportive.
Now we have our new addition to our family,

our baby boy who is now 4 months old,
and of our daughter who is 2.
So we have our hands full!
My mom- Saturdayfinds,
is not only my mom and Bff, but my
creative crafting partner.
Now that we are back to living close
to eachother we can craft more!!!
We are already starting to work
on Christmas goodies!!
My Etsy shop PinkDoor has
also been on vacation mode for
awhile during the move, and I will
be reopening and posting some
new yummy vintage goodies for
sale, as well as on my Ebay shop
Swinginkitten.
Here's a sneak peek..

Since being a mom, I have opened my
crafting creativity to things
for babies, kids, and moms.
I will be opening an additional
Etsy shop than my PinkDoor shop on Etsy
..so stay tuned I will announce the
name and opening very soon!

Summer 's over, Let's to catch up on our lives..New Baby, China, France & Poland

Well if you read my last posting
we have a new addition to our family,
our baby boy Knox Oliver.

He was born in June, and also having my two
year old daughter Amelie,
I have been super busy!

We couldn't be more happy
to have him of course, but Wow you just
don't imagine how much different it
can make your life to add another child, but it does!
Just a simple outing, is a huge ordeal.
Two kids loading in car seats, plenty of diapers,
wipes, carrying a infant car seat and walking
a two year old, finding a cart big enough..
and then wondering, ok who's going to have a melt down?
I am now one of those mom
pushing the huge cart with the car attached to it,
and nursing the baby in the car.

~~~
As for blogging, crafting, and going to
yard sales and thrift stores...well not so much.
I am adjusting though, and with a good cup of coffee
in the morning, and those cute smiley
faces from my babies, all is well.
~~~
Not only did I have just the usual adjusting to
our expanding family with and taking care of our newborn,
my hubby aka Rockstar has been going on tours.
As some of you may know,
he is in Panic! At The Disco.
When Knox was a few weeks old, hubby Rockstar had
to go on a China tour with Panic!

The Forbidden City

Great Wall of China
He had a great time, and then returned,
only a couple weeks later to
leave for France and Poland.
Panic! At The Disco opened for Muse
in Poland to an enormous crowd.

and the picture below is my hubby-
Dallon Weekes playing bass guitar.

Cannes, France
Summer 2010
The guys overlooking the
beach at Cannes, France.

The show they performed in France
was at an old castle overlooking
the ocean.
I was very excited for him,
andI did better than I thought
being alone while he was gone.
Living here in Utah away from my friends and
family does put more of a toll on me though
when he is gone, because our strong support
system is in California, and I get homesick.

However we do have good news,
that we will be moving back to Cali!!!
Very soon too, by the 1st of October!
Can't really say why this came about so fast,
just yet..but I will keep you posted :)

We are so happy, but have alot to
get ready for the move. I will be having a big yard sale
and going to post alot of my collectible
goodies up for sale on my Etsy shop and Ebay very soon.

This past weekend was so much fun.
I met in person for the first time the beautiful
and talented Molly,
known in the blog world as Fleur de Bee!

We both live and Utah and have been
talking for awhile now, planning to get together.
What better reason to meet up but,
The Oh Sweet Sadie Art and Gift Show,
in the gorgeous Daybreak area,
South Jordan Ut.
She was such a doll and brought
me a gift in my favorite color pink....pearl earrings!!!Oh what a lucky girl I am.

We shopped and shopped...
and of course left with some wonderful goodies.
I picked up these wonderful
scented handmade bath bombs
from Silver Firs Farm in strawberry
and passion fruit, guava, coconut!!

I purchased a lovely piece of jewelry from
The Pink Chandelier and what is so fun
about them is they have a huge array of
charms and chains, and you can put together
your own design...I would love to show you
what I got, but it's a gift for my mom
Saturdayfinds for mom's day
and want her to be surprised!

And of course I had to by some homemade
caramels from Grandma Berylene,
since this will be her last year
participating at the Oh Sweet Sadie show.
She even thanked me for my purchase
by giving me a dark chocolate candy bar
and a pen with her business address on it.
Needless to say the chocolate bar was
eaten pretty fast by this pregnant woman! :)
I gave the carmels to Molly as my
"new friend" gift to her.
~~~
There were so many other wonderful
vendors there, and we a wonderful time.
Afterwards we went over to Hobby Lobby of course
to pick up some craft supplies!!
I found the perfect place settings
for my baby shower!
~~~
I ended the day baking a cake for
my hubby aka RockStar's birthday,
in the shape of his dream bass guitar!
